Bakelite Brooch with Rhinestones 1910-1930

$75 USD Offers ConsideredBakelite Brooch with Rhinestones 1910-1930

Antique & Vintage Jewelry:Antique:1910-1930's:Celluloid Brooch With Rhinestones
This early bakelite brooch in the shape of a tulip is in wonderful condition! It is the amber color so often found in early celluloid. It is 3 1/3" long, slightly curved, and 1 5/8" wide. All of the rhinestones are clear and are placed on the bloom and are interspersed with white dots seemingly painted on the bakelite The pin fits snugly in the C clasp. It appears this lovely piece had been preserved but not worn. The dark places appearing in the pictures are the findings. these do not show when ...
Brass Art Nouveau Brooch with Amethyst Glass Stone

$50 USDBrass Art Nouveau Brooch with Amethyst Glass Stone

Antique & Vintage Jewelry:Antique:Costume:Art Nouveau Brass Brooch With Amethyst Colored Stone
This brooch follows a very popular trend of the time - a larger brooch, 3 1/4" across and 2" in length, in brass. This one has been polished so it lacks the patina which many collectors prefer. However the intricate embossing of flowers and petals is much more obvious. There are five "cut outs" on either side of th brooch. The Amethyst colored stone is of medium color and multi faceted in high relief. There are no scratches on the 7/8" by 58" stone. A really wearable antique piece.
Enamel and Rhinestone Flower Brooch

$65 USDEnamel and Rhinestone Flower Brooch

Antique & Vintage Jewelry:Antique:Costume:Large Enameled Brooch
This beautiful flower brooch is 3"long and 1 5/8" wide. The enameling is superb and most of the rhinestones are bright. The piece is done in gold tone metal. The fastening mechanism is a safety catch which appears to be original to the piece. My best guess is that it is from the 1940's. The possibility of reproduction is always possible in a piece in this condition. However, I don't think so! If a buyer thinks it to be, I will refund all postage as well as the cost of the piece.
Victorian Locket

$100 USD Offers ConsideredVictorian Locket

Antique & Vintage Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Locket
This locket is is 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. It has a white (glass) cameo of a lovely lady whose face is turned to the left on a black glass mounting, prong set in a metal frame, surrounded by an elaborately decorated border with bows and white sections. I believe the metal to be brass. The locket does not open from the front, but has a door in the back which is 1"x 1 18" - it has obviously appears to have been opened often. It holds only one picture. The locket hangs from a much used narrow ...
