This is a one-of-a-kind, Limoges plate handpainted and signed by the artist, covered completely with violets. The artist "Schiller" has painted the most believable, life-like violets I have ever seen on porcelain. I have been dealing in handpainted Limoges for over 10 years and I have never seen a painting of violets that has been so impressive.

The blank is Theo. Haviland, dated 1903-1925. The plate is 9" diameter. The background hues are various shades of very light green. There are pronounced violets in the forefront and shades of violets in the background. This plate features such depth.

A truly marvelous artist canvas. No chips, cracks or crazing and the painting is in marvelous condition. I doubt you will ever find another one like this where the talented artist has filled the whole scene with violets. The attention to detail is spectacular.
