Delighted to have acquired this magnificent Limoges hand painted bowl. Besides the original artwork the blank is truly rare with reticulation of flowers on the rim.

Two huge pink roses in full bloom grace this bowl with appropriate green and shadow foliage. The background behind the roses is an robin's egg pastel blue. On the outer edge of the florals the base is a very light pastel yellow.

The artist "Luc" is a very well known old Limoges artist. most of his work portrayed characters and portraits. A floral done by Luc is quite rare.

The bowl is 10" in diameter and 2 1/4"H. Remarkable condition...no chips, cracks or crazing.

Ca. 1890's by B&H Limoges decorator mark.
