Limoges Hair Receiver, Hand Painted Roses, Enamel Decor

Although this beautiful piece is unmarked, the artistry certainly indicates Limoges. It is the prettiest receiver I have come across. The artistry is ornate. Raised enamel cartouches, each colorful bead is gold outlined. The beading consists of blue and pink beads. Inside the bead work are hand painted roses. The beaded cartouches are connected by handpainted rose swags. The bottom is just as ornate with gold enamel scroll work connected with hand painted roses. On the lid below the design is a robin's egg blue, as well as above the design on the bottom. Gold encircles the opening with the slightest of wear. The receiver is 3 1/2"H by 4 3/4" D.

No chips, cracks or crazing. There are a few baubles missing, see photograph.
