A lovely Dresden Vase, hand painted with florals and gold trim. Franziska Hirsch decorator. A larger version of this vase can be seen in the reference book - Dresden Porcelain Studios by Jim & Susan Harran, page 75. My first inclination was that this was missing a top but as seen in the photo, it is a flower vase. That small rim on top is glazed on both sides indicating a top was never in use.
