This is a hard to find antique wooden and cast iron coffee grinder- most do not have a handle- This one hs seen lots of use but is still in great shape. It has decorative iron work and splendid dovetailed wooden box. This makes this a great item for the collector of coffee grinders or kitchen collectibles. Grinders like this date from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's. It has a lid that cover the grinding part that you remove to put the beans in and then cover them back up as you grind. It has one small piece of wood missing from the base on the back- the rest of the wood is in excellent shape. Measures 9" X 6.75"
