The focal of this simple, contemporary and eye catching necklace is a mesmerizing faceted coin of amethyst at an astounding size of 16mm with a depth of 11mm, and a carat weight of 15.75.

Rarely seen in this size, this beauty posses the perfect shade of medium purple which still remains a mouth watering purple when laying against the skin rather than becoming a purple/black like most purple amethyst. This spectacular gem has superb, dazzling luster, with good clarity with some crystalline inclusions which is characteristic of amethyst of this size and should not be considered a flaw, nor does it detract from its natural beauty.

Coiled with 14k yellow gold wire, the gem is encircled by a 14k gold hoop of 30mm and sways enticingly from diamond faceted, slinky links of also 14k at a total length of 17".
