Vintage Murano Glass Bird 12" Fabulous Italian Glass Water Bird

The label is gone from this fabulous Murano glass bird and I don't know the maker but Barbini or more likely Archimede Seguso would be a good guess. The bird stands a little over 12" inches tall and has a great look. The inner core is red with gold foil surrounding it and looks solid, opaque and metallic, grading to gold at the tail. Contrasted with the green sommerso and clear glass makes for a really beautiful Murano glass display. White and black cane eyes and the self assured but almost comical pose lend lots of character to this beautiful Murano glass bird.

He is in excellent condition! No chips, cracks or scratches :-)
