This geode bowl is unusual in that one side is pinched forming a teardrop like shape. It is missing the paper label but these well documented types of green and amber sommerso bowls were designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso and made around 1960... It is in great condition with crisp edges (typical base wear) and no chips or cracks :-) There is a small speck of ash in the bottom and some very minor scuffs that could be buffed out. Hardly noticeable but I had to mention it (see the pink arrows in the pictures).
It measures two inches high and about 4 1/2" inches across and weighs 1.6 lbs.
A very nice bowl!
