This pitcher stands 6 1/4" inches high and is in excellent condition with moriage patterns, lots of gold and surprisingly enough a Swastika and Rising Sun motif. Marked with a crumbled "Hand Painted Nippon" decal, this very unusual pitcher would be equally at home in a World War Two military or Japanese porcelain collection. I have never seen a Nippon or Kaga Ware piece designed with political or military markings like this one. It must have been made in 1940 between the tripartite pact and ...
