I wanted to call this stunning piece "China Celebration", but being an ignorant Westerner, I am stupidly clueless about Asian character writing!  I am unable to tell if the script on many of these charms is Chinese, Korean, Japanese or ???In fact, this is a very "talky" Floradora ~ it is just that I have no idea what it is saying!!!  For all I know there could be insults of shocking impact........golly, I hope not!!  I have recognized "Double Happiness" and "Prosperity" among all the characters depicted here...........................but as to the rest of them, I am only hoping they are in good taste!

I have used for the first time these popular "antiqued" bronze findings and beads.  They are all the rage in the costume jewelry world;  I suppose they are supposed to add "age" to our creations, which in my opinion, they do NOT.  But, they do lend an interesting effect, and in this case happened to perfectly match the various Chinese coins on this ravishing piece!There is a lot of Jade on this charm bracelet ~ both faux and real.  I love the stamped wooden beads, the "bamboo" beads, and especially these delightful woven black basket weave beads!!!!  These just knock me out!!!  They are about a half an inch in diameter, but really WOVEN!!!  WOW!The "Ivory" and the "Coral" you see are perfect foils for the jade, but definitely faux as well! 

I have included on this Floradora some lovely vintage pieces, and there are several Buddhas!!
