This beautiful, old fashioned looking Floradora represents a kind of challenge for me. All the other modern replicas of old Cameos on the market today are plentiful in most colors, and I have oodles of the coral ones, the green ones, the black and white ones, and the pink and ivory ones; but finding YELLOW is impossible, and for some unknown reason, lilac or lavender designs are also a bit scarce!

My Cameo collections are particularly unique in that I try not to repeat any of the various motifs. Each floral Cameo is unique, and each portrait Cameo is a different woman in a different pose. Some of these are fascinating in their superlative detail ~ I doubt the originals could have been better! The women have varied coiffures; tendrils and ribbons abound! Their gowns are unique, with floral embellishments, bows, or even laces!! Honestly, if you have never looked closely at these modern acrylic Cameos, you will be so surprised!

Naturally, I have chosen various pewter settings for the Cameos, further marking their distinctive appearance.

In addition to the wide selection of Cameos, I add "charms" of my own fabrication, using, in this case, some wonderful lavender cluster bead earrings, mounted on silver tone filigrees, as well as some gorgeous purple rhinestone confections studding the silver tone chain with sparkle.
