These are two very important colored engravings published by G. Kearsly London in a series dated January 1776 (Parade “oder stillhalten” vechts an der Wand) and June 1, 1777 (Galop links an der Wand) respectively. The engraving dated 1776 is marked Edwards inv. & I. Hall sculp, and the engraving dated 1777 is marked Edwards inv. & C. Grinion fculp. Charles Grignion is considered a British Master (1754-1804). The engravings are in very good condition with the usual light wear considering their age. The historical significance is evident that these engravings were made in London during the American Revolution. Measurements: Sheet 8 1/4" X 5 3/4", matte 13" X 10, and frame 15 1/2" X 12 3/4
