Beautiful Hammered Aluminum Basket with Flying Ducks

A great piece to add to your collection! This oval shaped basket has pretty fluted edges like a tart pan would have. The handle is sturdy and well constructed with a flying duck or geese design. The condition of this piece is good, with some scratches and small surface pitting commensurate with age. Needs a bit of polishing. The markings on this say "Hand wrought 72", possibly a Wendall August design, but will leave it up to the new owner to determine. The size of this basket is approximately 12 inches across and 7 inches wide with a height of 7 inches.
