Lovely Vintage Signed Mandalian Mesh Purse Art Deco Design

Chic. Understated. Fabulous. You just can't deny the incomparable beauty of the Mandalian mesh bags. Circa 1920 and made in the USA by Mandalian Manufacturing Co, this bag features a bold graphic diamond Deco design in black, white and gold, with a shimmering finish to the enamel called "Lustro Pearl" for which Mandalian is known. It measures 4.5" wide by 6.75" from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the Van Dyke fringe. The silky feel of the mesh is addictive, and the fine detail of the design is classic. Pattern is repeated on the back side. The detailed frame is brass stamped in a floral vine pattern with a large double blossom kiss clasp. The inside of the frame is stamped with "Mandalian Manu Co USA". The condition of this purse is excellent with very, very little enamel loss, and only a small number of slipped stitches in one "under arm" area on the back of one side.
