To Die For French Brocade and Rhinestone Evening Purse c. 1930's

This little French beauty is of soft cream brocade scattered with prong set rhinestones. It has a nice curved frame stamped with a lovely filigree pattern--probably old brass. Nice size. 8" wide by 5" high with a 3.5" drop on the chain handle. French pleating attaching the body to the frame. No label, but from the materials and construction I'd say French. Yes, definitely French--I'd say from 1930's or early 40's. Excellent condition save for a few stray lipstick marks on the cream silk lining. Clasp and hinges tight. All rhinestones present and clear. Totally elegant in a nonchalant, not-trying-too-hard way.
