Add a vibrant green majolica plate to your buffet and your table will come alive! Hang it on the wall in a grouping of other plates, or accent a print or etching by adding underneath. The depth of color and richness in these fabulous old majolica glazes is unequaled. The green particularly so. The pattern is a simple grape leaf trio. The stylized detail is charming. Scored this beauty at the Flea Market in Paris, but couldn't identify the mark. French? English? Who cares! It is old, beautiful and reasonably priced. Measures 8" diameter. Excellent condition with age appropriate crazing and two rim chips not visible from the front. If used for food service, please use a doily or other liner!
