This little French beauty is of soft cream brocade scattered with prong set rhinestones. It has a nice curved frame stamped with a lovely filigree pattern--probably old brass. Nice size. 8" wide by 5" high with a 3.5" drop on the chain handle. French pleating attaching the body to the frame. No label, but from the materials and construction I'd say French. Yes, definitely French--I'd say from 1930's or early 40's. Excellent condition save for a few stray lipstick marks on the cream silk lining. ...

This dainty and elegant purse of marbleized white is in great condition. Unmarked, but the delicate details and rhinestone accents are characteristic of Llewellyn. The shape is oval with horizontal sculptured banding. The lid has tapered octagonal edges and the horseshoe handle is also shaped.
