This distinctive antique cookie mold is hand carved and hand sawed, with a primitive look. An asset to any wall or wall grouping, it really catches the eye. The lady's costume is a dress and hat of early French mode. The dogs on either side of her feet also typical. This antique French box is elegant and very beautiful. It has soft curving lines and has a glowing patina. It was probably used as a glove or fan box, or possibly any keepsake. It measures 12" in length, 4 1/5 " deep and is 5" high. There are two compartments. The main one opens at the top and hinges are in good working order.
