This item is an ART NOUVEAU COPPER ON BRASS PARROT POCKET WATCH HOLDER. It features a parrot with outstretched wings sitting on a branch atop a stylized tree. The holder is copper over brass. It is very large measuring 9 1/4"H sitting on a base which measures 5 1/2" by 4". This holder would hold the largest watch or other object. It is quite heavy and very stable on its base. The bottom of the hook which is in the parrot's mouth is 7 1/2" above the base. The holder is in excellent condition with good color. It dates c1910.
