Here is a Stunning Miniature French Porcelain Handpainted Scene of two Lovers in a Garden! The Victorian Lady is seated and wearing a white and cobalt blue gown with delicate flower detailing! Her Suitor is wearing a Flashy Red Suit with Knickers, white leggings and a Vivid Pink & Blue Cape and with his hand stretched out seems to be asking her hand in Marriage! The piece has Gilt Gold edging all around the portrait and is identical to the one I just sold that was hallmarked "Limoges, France!" This Lovely piece measures 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" wide and would look Stunning as a Necklace or Brooch or in a Victorian Dollhouse as a painting! This piece came with a European Inheritance and we date it to the 20's France!
