Hallmarked Japan with a Black and Gold Label on the bottom is this Black Americana Male Cook holding a small orange frying pan! He has quite an expressive face with Large Dark Eyes and Pink Lips! He is wearing a Chef's Hat with a Long apron and a sky blue shirt and red pants! He is a shaker and measures 5" tall x 1 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep! He has some crazing with a horizontal crazing "crack" across the apron below the orange fry pan and it does not extend around the back! He has his original cork which is in very good condition and appears he was never used! A great addition to a Black Americana collection as these figurines are no longer made! We date him to the 30's Japan.
