A rare treasure for Pennino collectors! An Art Deco early Pennino Sterling brooch with pendant watch-Circa 1920s - 1940s! A lapel watch of baguettes and faceted rounds, all in clear stones, accent a star burst design around the watch and fan out on the brooch. The watch is a wind up with second hand that still works and keeps time. Aside from the marking on the back of the brooch that reads Pennino Sterling, the face of the watch also is marked Pennino. A few light surface scratches are present on the face crystal, consistent with age, but over all, still a lovely presentation. Top to bottom the piece measures 2 1/2 inches. The watch pendant measure 1 3/8 inches. For those unfamiliar with this style of watch, the watch is oriented upside down intentionally. This orientation allows the lady wearing the time piece to look down at the watch and read it easily. Boxed shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation are included for US destinations.
