A precious necklace of Rhodium plating with prong and paste set baguettes, clearly marked Ledo on the stone studded fold over clasp! Condition is rare and premium. No plating issues, no dark yellow spotty or chipped stones. All stones are present and vividly sparkling! In the condition you dream of finding these wonderful vintage pieces in!
Length is 15 1/2 inches. Due to the highly reflective properties of the necklace the images with black backgrounds aren't as clear as I would like. The makers mark has been darkened and contrasted to try to give a clear assessment. During the early 1900's an accomplished Italian master jewelry named Ralph Polcini immigrated to the US and founded a small company in New York to manufacture costume jewelry. The original name of the company was Leading Jewelry, but after world war II the company changed it's name to Ledo. After Ralph's death in 1954 his son Damon assumed leadership of the firm and the name was changed to Polcini. Knowing this snippet of history we can accurately place the date of production to have been prior to 1954. Boxed 1st Class shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation are included for US destinations. For international destinations please inquire regarding shipping. Pay Pal is available for your convenience but money orders and cashier checks are also accepted. Personal checks on a US bank are welcome and ship in 5-10 days. Thank you for visiting! Mona
