Morning Glory Fine Silver and Color Change Sapphire Necklace

This dream of a necklace began with creating pure Fine Silver leaves from my garden's Morning Glory Vine with Precious Metal Clay. I then hand wrapped 18 7mm color change natural Sapphires with Sterling Silver to create a chain to support the Morning Glory leaf pendant. Sterling Silver chain with an extension and Sterling Silver lobster closure finish the necklace for a versatile wearing length! Wearing length is adjustable from 16 1/2 inches to 21 1/2 inches! The extension side of the chain is finished with another of my hand created Fine Silver Morning Glory leaves in a smaller size. The color change is blue/red/purple. Color change Sapphires are very unusual and finer specimens of this stone are faceted and transparent. There are at least 36 carats of stone represented in the necklace.
