Of days gone by, when with the change of the season ladies moved out of season clothing and household items into the attic, and in season items and clothing down from the attic I was inspired to create this design. Grandmother's key to the Attic consists of double strands of dyed fresh water pearls and coin pearls in a golden tone. The dimensional key focal is very detailed, of oxidized brass, and supports drops for balance in the design. A heart charm set with Swarovski crystals, another golden coin pearl, and hand wrapped Swarovski crystal drops accent the key. The extension chain and lobster clasp are 14k Gold Filled. Length of the design is adjustable from 20 to 22 inches and the key focal is 3 inches in width! The design has been created to feature in an on-line jewelry show, Jewels of Fall, for September 6th, 2009 at The Jewelry Connection, an online radio talk show for and about independent jewelry artists!
