Double strands of fabulous 8mm blue opal glass are almost a delicate shade of periwinkle. Matching vintage rectangular box clasps of a an ornamented brooch style are prong set with rondelles of matching opal blue, then accented with sapphire crystals. Each bead is separated with tiny cut glass charlotte beads of the same color with a delicate iridescent finish. Necklace length is 18 3/4 inches and the clasp wears in an offset position as well as to the back. Bracelet length is 7 1/2 inches with a width of 5/8 inch. The color of this opal style glass is the most beautiful blue with smoky swirls of clouds mixed with areas of transparency and style is classic vintage in composition.!
