This is so typical of the period...very sort of 1940's-50's Retro. These match holders use to hang on wall tack by the fire, or in the kitchen by the gas stove or coal range etc. This is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures 4 3/4" in length and 3 1/8" in width. Has an unusual Made In Japan makers mark of a Crown and Feathers.

This machine is in EXCELLENT condition....a small scrape of paint off the front and needs a bit of a tidy up around the back also..and a tiny indentation on the top of the stainless kettle, but otherwise really great....and in absolutely fine working condition. I believe the clock was made by METAMEC but is branded PIFCO on the face. The cord leads look original but I 'm sure the actual wall plug is a replacement...not difficult to find the old type ones though. The kettle handle, and the also ...

This is a beauty...a big old grunty egg beater in excellent condition.......measures 13" in length. Imprinted on the cast iron wheel is ....The Taplin Manufacturing Co, New Britain, Conn. USA. Would be from the early 1900's I'd think.

This is just a really lovely item with real great deco design and "feel". I named it as a Cheese Cover but may well have also been for butter in the pre-refridgerator days. The piece is 7 1/4" x 5 1/4" and stands 3" in height. No cracks or splits but one small scratch on lid.

This fabulous old Nutcracker would have been sold as an "On-board Souvenir" on the Shaw Savill Liner SOUTHERN CROSS back in the 1950's-60's.The Ships Wheel is missing one spoke which I am sure can be replaced. Otherwise the condition is very good. To "crack a Nut" you spin the wheel out..insert the Nut....spin the wheel back back again ....and CRACK!. Bowl diameter is 7 inches.

A great piece to put on your kitchen side board as a decorative item...quite unusual and nicely done. The rim has an alloy cover beautifully decorated with coloured butterfly's. Early 1900's I think.

A nice pair but missing the carving knife.The meat fork has a burn indentation on the bone handle. The lovely Sterling Silver Art Nouveau decorated pieces are Hall Marked for Sheffield 1907 and the sharpener carries a makers name...C.W. Hotham. Nice decorative items for a Kitchen or Dining Room Server or Sideboard.

This is marked DEPOSE on the base plus has other wording I can't clearly see. I'd say this item is late 1800's to early 1900's and condition is very good for age. Measures 3 3/4" in height.

What a little cracker this is! A very attractive and decorative toaster to enhance any period American kitchen. It is branded as "HOTPOINT" and has a Patent Date of February 22nd 1910 on the base, and names the maker as "Edison Electric Appliance Co Inc". The toaster has some rust spotting....mainly on top and stands 14" in height. The cord is missing so have not tested it but everything looks to be in working order.

Lovely old brass set with the head in the form of a bird...Cockerel I think. Made in heavy brass and I think probably Victorian or maybe early 1900's...certainly look and feel very old but no markings on them. Have a piece out of the side of the lower beak...casting fault I'd say as it is smooth and looks like it has always been there. Measure 6 1/4" in length.

This appears to be pretty old...early 1900's? Take a look at the buildings for a clue. The Statue of Liberty and New York State Building are there but not too many other high buildings showing in Manhattan. Measures4" high and 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".

This fascinating kitchen accessory from the 1950's really takes one back "to more simple times". This piece was probably a promotional giveaway by Cadbury and stands just under 6 inches high. There is paint loss off the exterior but the inner is pretty near perfect.

This is a nice item and rather old ...could easily be from Victorian Era but really hard to say. Does have REG. imprinted on it but no other markings than i can discern. Measures 5 1/2" in length. The Dancing Girls look to be of Mongolian or Central Asian area origins.

This is a very nice old genuine English nut cracker. It has Made in England stamped on it and really is very solid. Measures 9" in length and I would think dates to around the 1920's era.

A really nice little old Victorian era Iron....it is rather small at 5" x 2 1/2" so I think it is probably a Traveling Iron. Has the name COALBROOKE DALE on it. Needs having some blacking applied and lacquering....nice kitchen display piece.

A really fabulous Retro baked enamel on metal Colander.... Circa 1940 in a beautiful Milk Chocolate and White colour. There are two smallish 'dings' with loss of enamel on the outside that I can spot but not serious and not at all noticeable. Also just found one on one handle. This is the first I've seen in this colour combination and it is a beauty. Measures 4 3/4' in height with a diameter of 9 1/2". A super piece of decorative KITCHENALIA....or good enough for daily use.

A good old vintage Rolling Pin from the well known maker NUT BROWN of England. The handle and core are made of wood and the actual roller is of porcelain. 1940's-50's era I think. Measures 17" in length handle tip to handle tip. Very Good condition.
