For this exquisite version of my "Spun Gold" earrings, I have used gorgeous plump Rutilated Quartz briolettes (approx 13mm). These gemstones are wonderfully clear, with just a few minor inclusions and desirable thick gold needles within. Hard to find in that size, at that quality!

They are topped with a delicate spattering of colors: fabulously clear Pink Sapphires teardrops, Pink Sapphire and Red Spinel tiny polished rondelles, faceted Imperial Topaz, Champagne Quartz and Rhodochrosite rondelles, Citrine puff marquises, Violet Garnet briolettes and tiny Yellow Sapphire teardrops.

Finely faceted Lemon Quartz rondelles finish the dangles. This is truly a delightful, happy pair of earrings, substantial yet with a light spirit.

All metal is Sterling Silver and .999 Fine Silver (for my handmade pins).
