Recently I received some requests for 'modestly Glitzy' Joolz. Truly, I had no idea that those existed...:-), but one is never too old to learn, is one...?? So, because I feel you have to be able to wear Glitz at ANY given time of the day - whether going to the grocery store, or taking your 5-year old to his violin lesson - I feel that this necklace meets that standard. It is flashy enough to be noticed but this can certainly be worn when visiting the grocery store, the park, or maybe even the dentist....

The centerpiece consists of a very pretty wreath shaped brooch, that has eye catching colors: Fuchsia Rhinestones, Lime Green enamel leaves and either Lucite or plastic semi triangular Pink components. The base is black enamel, which sets off these bright colors beautifully.

The necklace part is comprised of black matte glass Czech beads interspersed with a cluster of Swarovski Rose shaped flowers, that are attached with rhinestone studded headpins, one cluster at each side of the centerpiece Brooch. Further to the back there are Swarovski Rose AB Crystal beads, 10mm and 8 mm. Between every bead there is a lime green crystal silver lined 4mm. square seed bead, acting as a spacer.

The necklace measures app. 16 inches, + a 3 inch extender, which together give it a wearing length of 19 inches.

The earrings are truly lovely also, they make the set really stand out. They have clips, and because of the way they are made I cannot make them into posts. The clips are very comfortable to wear tho, and do not cause any pain at your earlobes. I will add some little foam cushions so you can add them if so desired.

Truth demands that I tell you this is not a particularly 'high end' brooch. Nevertheless, the components that make up the necklace, and not in the last place the Swarovski material, make this a lovely addition to your wardrobe.
