Large All Wired-On Centerpiece Necklace in Swarovski Ruby Red Crystal and vintage brass filigrees and flowers, 'Lady In Red'

This centerpiece was so much fun to create. When it seems to be all coming together the way I have pictured it in my head I start to feel almost euphoric, it is such a pleasure to put these intricate pieces together.

I used Swarovski crystal margarita's, rose montees in many different sizes and colors, some ruby red with aurora borealis flash, some clear crystal with ab flash. Most flower-depicting combinations are embellished with Swarovski Ruby Red Crystal rosettes. The rose montees are used with the wire technique also used by Hagler, Haskell and DeMario.

The larger smooth round ruby glass beads in many different sizes are West German. The brass findings are mostly vintage, but some contemporary pieces appeared to be perfect matches.

The necklace part consists of two strands Fire Polished Ruby Red Aurora Borealis 8mm. beads, alternated with small round gold plated spacer beads.

The wearing length is app. 17" with a 3" extender; if a shorter or longer size is required, that will be no problem, and is a free service on most of my artisan necklaces and this is no exception to this rule.

I will put up my thinking cap for the matching earrings that - at this point - are not yet included in the price. I may decide to put those up separately all together anyway.

This is a seriously beautiful piece, extremely suitable for the upcoming Holidays! ;-) And one more thing: the first picture is taken with a flash which makes the colors stan out nice and bright, the others are all taken without which gives the colors a darker hue.
