19th Century Albanian Dagger & Scabbard

A 19th Century Albanian Dagger & Scabbard made for the tourist industry. It has a solid cast, Asian style hilt. The blade is decorated with crude, geometric designs and the date 1820 has been carved into the blade. The scabbard is elaborately decorated with the Crest of Albania and other Albanian symbolic symbols. There is a 2" section of old red velvet that is framed with twisted silver metal and finished with a silver chain for hanging. This is in excellent antique condition. The scabbard is solid with no cracks or denting. The blade shows some patina. The overall length is 13 3/4", the dagger is 11 5/8", the blade is 7 1/8" . A fine example to add to your collection.
