This item is a nice miniature primitive or toy for a child or doll!!. It is a wash boiler made completely of tin. It measures 6-1/2" wide x 5" tall x 2-7/8" deep.
It has it's original lid. Both the boiler and the lid have rolled-edge, strap handles that are riveted onto the pieces. The boiler piece even has the three horizontal lines like many of the full size wash boilers do.
The tin has a nice patina. There is very little rust - no holes. One of the handles has been pushed in. It can probably be pulled back out. Nice piece to set up with your doll's laundry room!!
