Hull pottery started as a stoneware company. Later they started making art pottery with matt finishes. In the 1950s they started to glaze pieces.

This piece is glazed. It is the Blossom Flite pattern. This piece is a jug or pitcher or ewer. It measures 6-1/4" tall x 4-1/2" deep x 3-3/4" wide. The outside is pale pink with black. It has orange, dark pink, and purple flowers with yellow green leaves. The inside of this piece is glazed also, and is a darker pink.

Quite a crazy design. The handles look to be vines or animals horns. The background of this piece seems to have a basketweave pattern on an angle. There is a metallic gold squiggle design on top of the floral design. It is marked "Hull TL(?) U.S.A. copyright symbol '55".

Nice condition. There are no chips or cracks. Nice exotic piece for the Hull or Mid-Century Modern collector!!
