Layaway is available for Holiday Gifts!!
Ceramic Arts Studio was in Madison, Wisconsin from 1940 until 1955. Betty Harrington was the designer of most of the figurines from this company. This head vase is Svea, the Swedish girl. She measures 6" tall x 5-3/4" wide x 4-1/4" deep.
She has brown hair, blue eyes, a yellow collar, pea green straps with rose flowers that have yellow centers. Her brown hair is worn in braids. She has only a slit for flowers. The piece is marked with the Madison, Wisc. Ceramic Arts Studio mark.
There are no chips or cracks. There is a small amount of crazing. Because Svea has such a shiny glaze, my flash has left white spots in my pictures. These are not permanent!! Nice Ceramic Arts piece!!
