SOLD Gorgeous EA Creamy Enamel & Gold Figural Arrow Head Compact

This is one of those extremely hard to find Elgin American figural arrow head vanity compacts. It is of goldtone glossy metal, with a perfect creamy colored enamel finish. It is shaped in such a unique way and is considered art deco in its figural design. SIZE: 4 1/2" x 2" (at widest portion),

CONDITION: The gold and enamel are in beautiful undamaged, unrestored condition. If you look carefully (in person, in sunlight, tilted to the side) you will see a small curved dent on the lid which is inconspicuous. It involves no loss of enamel. The base is in very good condition except for minor surface wear. The clasp works as it should. The interior has its original mirror in excellent condition. It is marked on the "door" that covers the powder well. The issue here is that the latch is partially missing, so the door doesn't stay shut. The rouge well has a cover that lifts up to reveal partially used contents. This snaps shut as it should.

Comment: This is such a beauty one can forgive its less than perfect condition, especially since the price has been generously reduced. The compact shows beautifully and its case is in immaculate condition with regard to the enamel, gold, etc. It is, of course, guaranteed to please.
