This antique covered pantry box retains its original green paint with the “# 70” added to the box. The bottom of the pantry box has carved initials “H.V.E.”. The box also has two carved initials in the top, these being “M.W.”. The banding is attached with square cut nails.

This pantry box would stack well with other boxes of similar sizes.

The pantry box is 6 ½” in diameter and 3” high.

The only damage to the box is around the lower banding, but I certainly do not find it offensive, and keeping in mind that this storage box was made for everyday use.
