This Treen Sander has a wonderful mellow color & retains its original patina. The top portion of the sander has an extremely well executed six point pierced star motif.

NOTE: In the 1800’s, before fountain pens existed, these sanders were used to apply sand on to the stationary to keep the ink from smudging.

The height of the treen sander is 3 ½” and 3 ¼” at the widest point. The condition is very good.
