Antique white cotton doll dress in the drop waist style. Delicate dress in fine white cotton with an embroidered pattern in fabric. The yolk of the dress has a very full lace collar with light yellow stitching around neck and at base of the collar. The blouse part of the dress is very full and gathered at the center. There is a band at the drop waist with loops for ribbon to go through. The skirt part of dress is very full and has the yellow stitching and inch from bottom. Dress buttons in back with 4 star cut shell buttons. The large collar extends to the back as well. Dress measures 16" from shoulder to hem and 7" across drop waistband. The dress would fit a 24"-27" antique bisque doll with either a kid leather or ball jointed composition body. The dress is in excellent condition with no stains or tears. There are a few tiny brown dots on bodice under the collar but they do not distract. Circa 1900-1905. Beautifully made dress with lots of detail.
