This framed portrait drawing was done by French artist, Jean Cocteau(1889-1963). Jean Cocteau was a poet, artist, stage designer, film maker and ceramist. Frame size is 14-1/2" by 11-1/2" with a 10-1/4" by 7-1/4" image. I bought this item with other colored drawings from this artist dating from the 1960's. Sold in good condition with some creasing. I have not taken this item out of the original frame. There is a gallery label from The Veerhoff Galleries of Washington, D.C..
