About Us
McClendon Antiques and Fine Art is owned by Mark McClendon. Mark McClendon was educated at California State University at Long Beach in Fine Art and with a specialization in Ceramics. While Mark was in college, he made money as a "picker" for local antique shops. After college, Mark was employee at Franciscan Ceramics in Glendale, California, as a Laboratory Technician. When Franciscan Ceramics moved to England, Mark decided to move back to his hometown of Watertown, South Dakota. After several years of having an antique mall booth space, Mark decided to open his own shop in Watertown's historical uptown area. The shop is open 1-5PM Monday through Saturday year-round. Mark has over 25 years of dealing with fine art, antiques and collectibles.
