VINTAGE 1940's Red & White Blanket, UNUSED Condition

A fantastic c.1940’s red and white blanket, stored all these years and never used. It measures 75” wide X 85” long and should fit either a full or twin bed. Wonderful folk art inspired motifs fill the interior, and each end has a wide border of distinctly PA Dutch style flowers bound with 3” wide red satin. Of course, the colors are the reverse on the opposite side, which I show in the last picture.

In excellent condition. I found two areas on the very edge of the satin binding that have a few pin holes, but they don’t appear to be from wear because nothing else is worn! Possibly this section was sticking out of its protective covering and was subjected to years of other linens being taken in and out of the closet and brushing past it repeatedly. At any rate, it’s one of the best you’ll ever find!
