Early Art Nouveau hair adornment barrette with center Amethyst glass stone

Very nice Art Nouveau period and design hair barrette with the center focus on a glass Amethyst stone. This old classic design piece has been left untouched and shows some Verdigris on the reverse. Some buyers prefer that the piece reflects its history and so this will easily do that. The barrette C-Clasp style closure and pin function very well and I see no dents or scratches. Those that prefer the piece does not have the aged look can easily clean it up to their requirements. Measurements are 11/16 x 1 3/4 inches.
