Nice collectors name plate from Whitehead-Hoag in a gold tone or gold wash coloring with nice frontal detail and what looks to be a writable thin cardboard looking backing for writing in the name or possibly Company. Nice interesting piece dating from the very late 1800s to the early 1900s. Most probably between 1894-1910. The Company was do a lot of novelty type pins and bottle caps openers with Company, City, State or individual identification. This Company is great for a Collector starting out as they are not easy to come by and worthy of search. This piece is in very nice condition for its age and just minor fading issues on the back.
