Fabulous antique Arts and Crafts style brooch with a pin structure that dates it around the 1870s or 1880s. The back section has a non-magnetic metal look to it the color of steel but it is probably some type of cast alloy. The overlay is wonderful open work gold colored metal encircling the long Tiger Eye bar. The C-Clasp is the very old one and the C-Clasp is extended for the bunching they did in that period. Lovely lovely with some minor aging and twisting of the wire ringing the piece but it has no affect on the beauty or wear of this piece. Not tested for gold in the area encompassing the Tiger Eye. 1 x 2 1/4 inches
