ABOUT THE ARTIST

She is the daughter of renowned Mexican Movie director, Fernando A. Rivero. Victoria was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. in 1983 to create lithographs and was contacted by one of the largest galleries in the U.S. While living in NY she was working with the acclaimed surrealist painter, Leonara Carrington which was her inspiration. Her style includes oils, serigraphs on textiles and has chosen to primarily paint flowers. Much like Georgia O' Keefe, Victoria has found endless beauty, rich colors and dimension in the fauna she paints. Her flowers are incredible with an infinity of colors and a soul like quality to her expressionist style.
