This wonderful fine porcelain hand-painted Limoges-style pitcher is signed by Norma Roberts.an unknown artist. It is so beautifully decorated it belongs on display in someone's home.. Typical of the Limoges Florals theme with an elaborate array of pastel pink and red rose motif. I have no information on the artist or know if she was European or American. Norma Roberts may have well been one of the many women who took classes in hand-painting fine french porcelain. The large porcelain pitcher is accented with a pale aqua border trimmed with 22kt gold banding on the handles, rim and base of the pitcher, Background color is a soft white. This is a fine example of German, Bavarian and Czech porcelain artistry. Simply gorgeous! Signed: Norma Roberts, 1970.
