This streamline bird dish is a modernist glass piece designed in by Art Vannes France. Fine condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Fine line scratches on the bottom of dish typical for its generation. Etched Hallmark: Triangle logo Art Vannes France.

Vannes Art Glass History:

Art Vannes French Crystal was manufacturer by this company from 1950-70 when the business was closed and Crystal de Sevres was created. Vannes-le-Chantel is located in Eastern region of France in Lorraine County. They were known for their glass furnaces and today their animals and larger glass dishes and bowls are very collectible.
