The Irreverent Angel is the first definitive biography by Ted De Grazia whose cards, prints exceed in number that of any other living artist. He is foremost among American Impressionists. Signed and inscribed in 1971. Dust jack has shelf wear and tear upper middle of page. Has been reinforced. Book is like new. Measurements: 9-1/2" x 12" x 1" - 190 pages. Numerous colored prints and black & white photography.

Many of De Grazia's favorite theme is the subject of Spanish Exploration of the Southwest, Indian lore, legends and celebrations and religious life and faith of his people. His 13 print series of "The way of the Cross"

Hailed by many critics as the most creative artist in America at the time of the book writing for his refusal to conform to any accepted standard of art or behavior.

T. DeGrazia homes is now a museum in Tucson, Az, "Gallery in the Sun" and is a landmark for thousands of visitors each year.

For all who love the Southwest De Grazia's reputation as a maverick and loner is well known. His work and books remain highly collectible , 23 years after his death.

The Way of the Cross, De Grazia Second Printing 1977 This portfolio includes 12 stations of the cross. Each depicts a stylized imagery of Christ's Passion. Frame one or all or let remain in the portfolio cover jacket. One of the prints is missing. and believe it is the dust cover jacket print, Station 1. Measurement: 11" x 14"
