The National Cartoonist Society Portfolio of Fine Comic Art:

1978 - Limited Edition # (955/1500) drawn and signed by Johnny Hart. Tribute to the First Moon Landing using the ever popular BC Characters. Both Johnny Hart and Brant Parker died this past year within a few months of each other.

"The Wizard of Id" is the creation of "B.C."'s Johnny Hart and friend Brant Parker. The two began writing the medieval comic strip together in 1964, and it gained an instant fan following. Today, it can be read in over 1,000 newspapers and more than 20 print collections. Hart and Parker have each won the Cartoonist of the Year Award (in 1971 and 1984, respectively), and together the two continue to lead reader popularity polls and have won several awards from the National Cartoonist Society.
